Alabama’s Montgomery Zoo Has Been Transformed Into A Winter Wonderland For Its Annual Christmas Lights Festival

Luckily, several events are held throughout the state this time of year that helps spread lots of holiday cheer, including the annual Montgomery Zoo Christmas Lights Festival in Montgomery. This one-of-a-kind event happens every year starting the first week of December and running through December 25 from 5:30 pm to 9 pm.

The Christmas Lights Festival features thousands of twinkling lights and festive decorations that are sure to put you in the Christmas spirit.

Don’t miss the Guardian Credit Union Christmas Tree Village, which is located at the Mann Wildlife Learning Museum. It features 20 beautifully decorated trees that are sponsored by local businesses, groups, and organizations.

Both children and adults enjoy Montgomery Zoo's Christmas Lights Festival. In fact, it's become a yearly tradition for many families.

The admission price for this festive event is $10 per person. Ages two and under are free. Montgomery Zoo members can attend all event activities for free as part of their membership.
