It’s near impossible to do it, but lately, we’re loving the cowboy town of Ennis, Montana (it just may be the best small town in Montana!). With history, proximity to the outdoors, and plenty of unique charm, this is a spot you’ll want to visit as soon as you have the time.

Historic Ennis, Montana, located in the Madison Valley, is known as a top-notch destination for those who love adventure and the outdoors. It has a decidedly Western feel, making it the perfect spot for those who want to feel like cowboys and cowgirls.

It was first visited by the Shoshone, Flathead and Bannock Indians who hunted in the area each spring. Lewis and Clark even traveled through the area in the early 1800s. Eventually, in 1865, gold was found in the region making Ennis the perfect place to live and be a part of the Gold Rush.
