Oktoberfest German Restaurant in Billings offers authentic German cuisine and a unique dining experience.

Billings has become quite a destination for foodies in recent years — from farm to table cuisine to good old-fashioned burger huts, the city offers a little bit of everything. And if you love German food, you're in luck, because Oktoberfest is as authentic as it gets.

Oktoberfest German Restaurant is located at 3839 Grand Ave.

They're open from Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. on the weekdays, and 9 p.m. on the weekends.

Oktoberfest is owned by Ernie and Birgitt Adams, who have called Billings home since 2014.

Birgitt grew up in Frankfurt, Germany, where she learned to cook from her mother and grandmother. Ernie is a U.S. Navy veteran with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

The menu consists of all kinds of scrumptious German classics, like pretzels, bratwurst, and pork medallions.

Their schnitzel selection is especially popular.

If you've never tried Käsespätzle — homemade egg noodles mixed with assorted cheeses, diced onions, and bacon bits — treat yourself to a plate here.

It's especially delicious with the stuffed chicken.

If you're lucky, you'll be treated to an accordion performance by Russ.

You just might become an accordion lover.

German food isn't easy to find in Montana, and that makes Oktoberfest even more special.

If you can't make it to Bavaria anytime soon, this is the next best thing.

You don't even have to leave Billings to eat your way around the world. Check out this wonderful Indian buffet.
