We may be a bit biased, but we happen to think Montana is the best state in the U.S. for quite a few reasons. This is particularly true if you're a foodie, as we grow and raise plenty of our own meats, eggs, produce, and wheat here in the Treasure State. If farm-to-table cuisine is your favorite, we highly recommend enjoying a meal at Feed Cafe in Bozeman.
Feed Cafe is located in a historic barn on Bozeman's Main Street.
The eatery is locally owned and operated by Serena Rundberg and Nick Garbiel, who also own sister businesses Lot G Cafe and the Daily Coffee & Eatery.
If not for the obvious exterior, you wouldn't know you were in a barn once you step inside.
The interior feels more like the warm, welcoming farmhouse of a family friend.
Feed Cafe serves breakfast, lunch, and coffee every day.
If you don't already believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, you will after you visit this place.
Everything here is made from scratch using Montana-grown wheat, potatoes, eggs, and other local products.
The bread is freshly made in the kitchen and the other pastries served are made locally.
Whether you're just in the mood for a small breakfast sandwich or a heartier entree, you'll find what you're craving here.
The omelettes and frittatas are second to none -- every Montanan knows there's nothing like farm-fresh eggs.
As delicious as the breakfasts are here, you won't want to miss out on the lunch menu.
This is the Piled High Elk Burger, and it's even more mouthwatering than it looks.
Feed Cafe is definitely one of the top brunch spots in Bozeman, if not all of Montana.
It's open daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. for either dine-in or takeout.
