Some of these places are both, and some do one or the other.  They can either be tucked away near a small historic town or just a short drive from the city.  Whether just part of a long vacation, or an afternoon activity, these are some calming and beautiful places where you can enjoy a relaxing tasting or tour and take in the scenery.
