Find a spot in the parking lot right across from the natural area, where you'll embark on the .03-mile Prairie Hollow Gorge Trail.
Or, if you park along Old Road, off of Highway V, follow the stream to the start of Prairie Hollow Gorge Trail.

A gushing waterfall. Visitors are permitted to fish in the stream. However, no matter how tempted you may be, do not attempt to climb the rocks as rock climbing is prohibited.
Carve out plenty of time to admire your views in the 300-foot gorge that closely resembles a canyon.
You can visit Prairie Hollow Gorge, with its 100-foot canyon walls, any time of the year. However, for the most picturesque views, visit during the warm months or in the fall when the leaves have changed.
