What is the best homemade candy in Missouri?

Each Missourian probably has his or her own opinion on the best candy store in Missouri. One thing we can all probably agree on, however, is Missouri’s home to some of the best candy anywhere. If you’re looking for homemade candy, you can’t go wrong at The Candy Factory in Columbia. The charming candy shop sells homemade fudge that will make your mouth water, chocolate-covered strawberries, and even chocolate-covered bacon.

Crown Candy in St. Louis, on the other hand, has been a Missouri favorite since 1913. You can purchase its handmade chocolate – broken dark chocolate and broken milk chocolate, for example – by the pound. The candy store also sells hand-dipped milkshakes and malts.

What other massive stores can I find in Missouri?

Tantalize your taste buds when you stop by Redmon’s Candy Factory, tucked in Phillipsburg. The massive candy store boasts a huge collection of candy, including an assortment of nostalgic candy, fudge, and salt water taffy.  Make sure to also check out the selection of soda in glass bottles.

If you’re on the hunt for really cool gifts, however, head right next door from Redmon’s to The World’s Largest Gift Shop, a massive store in Missouri. Stock up on Route 66 souvenirs, Elvis, memorabilia, and animal t-shirts. The shop really does have an assortment of just about everything.

Are there any local toy stores in Missouri?

Two places usually make it easy for us to feel like a kid again – a candy store and a toy store. If you’re longing for yesteryear, plan a visit to Time Warp Toys & More in St. Louis. The classic toy shop sells both new and nostalgic toys.

If that doesn’t cure your longing for nostalgia, head over to the World’s Largest Toy Museum Complex in Branson. There, you’ll discover a collection of old favorites – from toys found in McDonald’s Happy Meals to Care Bears.
