The Amazing Food Festival In Missouri Where You Can Get A Taste Of All 50 States
Missouri is one of the most accessible states in the country. With it’s centralized location is it is driving distance to many making it a great place for nation wide events. An amazing mega food festival is coming to St. Louis this month and will feature the signature dishes from all 50 states in America. Sample your way across the U.S.A. and try some of your regional favorites or something new and exotic. Are your tastebuds tingling yet?

On October 28th and 29th the Dome at the America's Center (formerly the Edward Jones Dome) will once again be the place to be. For one weekend you can try the signature dish from every state in America.
This epic food festival is being organized by former Food Network employees Richard Gore and David Rosengarten. Gore once headed the live events department for the network while Rosengarten is a famed food critic who often appeared as an on-air host.
Find both celebrity chefs and small town cooks representing their state. The lobster roll will be the signature dish for both Maine and Connecticut and will showcase the different ways to prepare such a similar dish.
There will be fresh and healthy options like fish tacos from California and pumpkin soup from Vermont. In addition to food there will also be live entertainment like cooking competitions and musical acts.
If you're looking to indulge try the massive pork tenderloin from Indiana or mud pie from Mississippi. Don't forget to grab a drink from one of the mixologists, beer masters, or sommeliers.
While some dishes like chicken fried steak, chimichangas, or key lime pie may be familiar to you there will be some exotic choices available. Look for reindeer sausage from Alaska, bison meatballs, or Sour cream and raisin pie from Kansas.
Tickets are on sale for $55 a person and will allow you to have up to ten dishes. If you're up to the challenge to try more you can buy additional meals at the event.
