The Tiny Mississippi Town That Transforms Into A Watermelon Wonderland Each Year
Last year, we highlighted Water Valley’s Watermelon Festival. But that’s not the only festival in the state dedicated to the deliciously sweet fruit. For the last 40 years, the tiny town of Mize has been hosting its own festival. Officially known as the Mississippi Watermelon Festival, the annual event offers small town fun for the entire family (in addition to lots of watermelon, of course). Take a look:
Remember, the Mississippi Watermelon Festival will take place at Mize City Park on July 20 – 21, 2018. For more information, call (877) 790-9722 or visit the festival’s website.
