The Natural Swimming Hole At D’Lo Water Park In Mississippi Will Take You Back To The Good Ole Days
As the temperatures steadily rise, you’re gonna need a place to cool down – and D’Lo Water Park is that place. Not your typical water park, it doesn’t have slides, a lazy river, or crowds of people. Instead, it has something much better – a natural swimming hole. Take a look:
Deemed one of Mississippi’s best kept secrets, D’Lo Water Park is tucked away in the tiny town of D’Lo, which is about a 40-minute drive from Jackson.
Speaking of rocks, the park is home to a collection of rocks that may look familiar to fans of the movie, O Brother, Where Art Thou, which was partially filmed at D’Lo Water Park.
Up and running, D’Lo Water Park re-opened on June 1, 2020. For more information, call (601) 847-4310. You can also visit the D’Lo Water Park website or Facebook page.
So, did you know about this hidden gem? Ever visited? If so, what’d you think? Tell us in the comments section.
This isn’t the only place to cool off this summer. Read about another here.
