The Mississippi Restaurant That Was One Of The Nation’s Top 10 Of 2016 Is Irresistible
Recently, Forbes named the “10 Best Restaurants of 2016.” The list included restaurants in huge cities, like Miami, Brooklyn, and Las Vegas, as well as one restaurant in a small town in Mississippi. That’s right; Mississippi’s very own Darwell’s Café landed a spot on the list, and once you take a closer look at the one-of-a-kind eatery, you’ll quickly see why (and want to visit).
A true hidden gem, Darwell’s Café is tucked away in the small town of Long Beach.
It has even been visited by Guy Fieri and his television show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Fieri loved Darwell's crawfish etouffee so much, he included the recipe in his cookbook.
Darwell’s is located at 127 East First Street in Long Beach and is opened 11 am – 9 pm on Wednesday – Saturday and 11 am – 8 pm on Sunday. And remember, Darwell’s has a BYOB policy, so you can bring along your favorite bottle.
