Although it's not immediately apparent from outside the Fitger's Brewery Complex in Duluth, The Boat Club Restaurant & Bar, tucked back against Lake Superior, is a hidden gem of a restaurant that boasts some of the best seafood in Minnesota.
You'd be forgiven if, standing on the street in front of Fitger's Brewery Complex in Duluth, you overlooked the small banner announcing the presence of The Boat Club Restaurant & Bar.
But you may not forgive yourself for missing out on some of the state's best seafood.
The Boat House is tucked onto the back side of the complex.
You have to enter through Fitger's to access the restaurant. But during warm weather, you can find it just off the Lakewalk.
Once inside, though, you'll be delighted to feast on some of The Boat Club's sublime specialties, like its seafood linguine.
You can't go wrong with one of The Boat Club's market fresh dinner features, like Arctic char.
And if you enjoy a little turf with your surf, you can certainly get that, too.
Don't forget to try one of the restaurant's craft cocktails, like the Minnesota old fashioned.
You can even get seafood for brunch, like The Boat Club's delectable crabby benny - eggs benedict made with crab cakes.
And, of course, if you're having brunch, you will definitely want one of the loaded bloody marys.
While enjoying all the scrumptious seafood and delightful drinks, you'll be treated to spectacular views of Lake Superior and the Duluth aerial lift bridge.
When you're in Duluth, be sure to save room for one of the out-of-this-world burgers at Big Daddy's Burgers, too. Seafood fans should check out some of these other mouthwatering seafood restaurants in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.
