Take A Step Back In Time To This Minnesota Restaurant That Looks Like An Old West Saloon
Minnesota may be full of cities, town, and otherwise developed lands right now. But it was once part of the Western frontier! There are plenty of stories of wagon trails, bank heists, and other relics of the Old West before it was fully mapped. There are a lot of ways to experience what it may have been like. But none is as fun as visiting the Minnesota restaurant that looks like an Old West saloon. Take a look:
The little town of Breckenridge is on Minnesota's western border. It is home to a charming restaurant called Wilkin Drink & Eatery. You'll find it at 508 Minnesota Ave., Breckenridge, MN 56520.
From the outside, it is clear that the Wilkin has been around for decades. Originally owned by an Australian immigrant who came to America in 1896, the restaurant is now owned by Tom and Peggy Materi.
Inside, the eatery only gets more lovely. The dining room is full of old world charm. You'll find old wooden tables and chairs, brick walls, and hanging lamps.
