If you’re the type who can’t get enough wings, then there’s an off-the-beaten-path eatery in Minnesota you must try. D-Spot is a restaurant that’s completely dedicated to chicken wings and you won’t be disappointed by the offerings here.
D-Spot is a restaurant concept created by the talented Chef Darin Koch. Offered here are over 100 flavors of chicken wings along with hand-formed burgers, all made from scratch.
Located on the outskirts of Saint Paul in the suburb of Oakdale, D-Spot is the place to come for wings. Just take a look at all the choices on the menu and decide if you want them hot, mild, or somewhere in between.
Maybe you'll want to try the Tarantula wings with soy glaze, roasted garlic, chili, dry rub, and fried garlic. Or how about the Goat's Blood with red curry, tomato, and goat cheese?
For savory chicken wing flavors, you have your choice of PB&J with peanut butter and a grape reduction or Blue Moon with blue cheese cream, among several other flavors.
If sweet is more your speed, try the Mound of Joy with seasoned coconut milk, chocolate, and crushed almonds. Another one you may want to taste is the French Toast with cinnamon, maple syrup, and powdered sugar. Can you believe that wings like these even exist?
If you prefer spicy, there are a few levels. There are nearly 30 flavors under the Spicy category including one called Dragon's Breath with sriracha, horseradish, honey, and aioli.
If you have a more adventurous palate and heat tolerance, try one of the Haunted flavors like the cajun Rougarou, a Scorpion's Lair flavor like the Witch Doctor, or a Death Row flavor like Seizonsha. Spicy!
