Minnesota is well-known as the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Many of the state’s lakes are picture-perfect for swimming, boating, fishing, and other outdoor recreation. But that doesn’t mean it’s always convenient to get to them. They may be far away, only accessible by boat, or overcrowded. Moreover, some people simply don’t like swimming in muddy-bottomed lakes full of slimy fish.
