No doubt about it, Minnesota is at its most beautiful in the fall. Every city and town in Minnesota has something to offer to the season, whether it’s a fun corn maze or a spooky haunted house. In Taylors Falls, the best fall activity is by far a peak season scenic boat tour along the St. Croix River.
Taylors Fall is one of Minnesota's cutest river towns. It's a great place year-round, but its location on the St. Croix River makes it unbeatable in the fall.
One of the best things to do in Taylors Falls is take a tour of the St. Croix on an old-fashioned paddlewheel boat. Tours cost $18.99 for adults and leave four times each day.
Each scenic tour lasts either 45 or 80 minutes. As you glide past the rocky bluffs, your boat captain will point out the river's most interesting formations.
