Where can I find the best views in Michigan?

Michigan is one of those states that seems to be made for those of us who love the outdoors. With over 2,000 awesome hiking trails to choose from all over the state, it’s impossible to NOT have a favorite place. In fact, lots of Michigan’s best views and overlooks can be accessed via a good hike, and we have a few favorites we’d like to share with you. For example, the Empire Bluff Trail is easily one of Michigan’s most famous hikes thanks to its outrageous beauty. It’s one and a half miles out and back, and the views of Lake Michigan you get as a reward for doing it are worth it! Then, head to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore (all of which is super scenic, honestly) and check out the Grand Portal Point Trail, which features awesome views of Lake Superior and its crystalline blue-green waters. Inspiration Point at Arcadia looks and feels like the ocean, and if you cross the five-mile-long Mackinac Bridge, you’ll be treated to even more amazingness. Seriously, Michigan is an awesome destination, especially if you know where to look!

What are some of the prettiest places in Michigan?

Honestly, we have too many to mention in one short paragraph. Some of our favorites, though, include amazing gems like Torch Lake, in Antrim County. It’s known for its brilliant turquoise water that’s super clear; it’s one of Michigan’s most beautiful places. Arch Rock, on Mackinac Island, is also truly picturesque. While you’re there, don’t forget to stop and pick up some amazing fudge somewhere on the island! Next, check out Eagle Harbor Lighthouse, which is perched on Lake Superior. It looks like something off of a postcard and is definitely one of the prettiest places in Michigan. Finally, check out... well, everywhere... during autumn! Michigan is one of those states that lights up with incredible, brilliant colors every fall. Check this article out for some backroads you ought to drive to admire the color
