Did you know there are haunted locations all over Michigan? Though Mackinac Island is Michigan’s most haunted area, the creepiest haunted spot on the island is Fort Mackinac. Fort Mackinac is a former military outpost built to control the straits. Situated on Mackinac Island, it made good use of the location until it closed in 1895. Today, it operates as a museum as part of the state park.
