These zip lines are among the longest in North America and were named some of the best in America by USA Today.
Berkshire East Mountain Resort offers three different zip line canopy tours.
The Base Area tour lets beginners get a taste of “zipping.” It’s a two-line course closer to the ground that will make you hungry for bigger thrills. This is the tour we’d recommend for total novices!
Looking to up the ante just a bit? The Mountain Top Tour is an intermediate experience that features seven zip lines connected by wooden platforms.
You’ll fly through the air while getting first-class views of the mountains and forest. The zip lines are between 280 and 900 feet long and the tour lasts about two and a half hours.
True thrill-seekers may want to hop straight to the Valley Jump Tour. The lines are between 1,000 and 2,600 feet long and nearly 200 feet high!
The Mountain Top tour and Valley Jump tour both include chair lifts up and down from the canopy, so you don’t have to worry about climbing.
There are different weight and age restrictions for each tour. The Base Area tour is best for kids, with a minimum weight of 50 pounds and minimum age of seven.
Please arrive with sunscreen and close-toed shoes. Check the Berkshire East website below for current pricing and to make your reservation.
