New England has some spectacular spots to view the leaves changing color every autumn, and the Skyline Trail is one great place to see it! Head on over to the Blue Hills Reservation for an easy hike that has stunning panoramic views. Make sure to time it for when the leaves are turning, and you’ll be in for quite a show.
If you’re looking to get out of the house this weekend, you need to head on over to Milton, Massachusetts to the Blue Hills Reservation.
This wonderful trail takes you up on top of Great Blue Hill and offers stunning views of the landscape around you. If you hike it during the autumn season, you’ll find yourself overlooking miles of trees changing colors.
The entire hike is a three mile loop and you won’t find it difficult or too steep. There’s only 820 feet of elevation gain throughout the entire trail.

It takes the average hiker about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete.
The trail is well marked and maintained. You’ll be able to follow it easily. Because it’s not a technical hike, this is a good trail for the whole family to enjoy.
