So pack a picnic so you can enjoy the scenery for just a little longer. Even though this hike can be popular, the trail is rarely crowded and there’s plenty of room on the top of the summit to spread out.

If you can make it up early enough, the lack of sleep is worth it! The views from this summit are absolutely breathtaking.
The lot at the base of the trail is pretty small, so make sure to get there early if you want a spot.

The parking lot only fits about 12-15 cars in it, so plan early. Some people elect to park on the road outside the lot, but beware! You may be ticketed. Weekdays tend to be slower than weekends, so if you can swing by on a Monday or Tuesday morning you might get the best parking options.
