If that sounds like a place you would enjoy, head on down to Bongi’s Turkey Roost, a turkey restaurant in Massachusetts that will make all your dreams of turkey and fixings come true.
Since 1947, Bongi's turkey farm has been providing some of the tastiest turkeys in the state. And it still uses the same recipes it started with over 70 years ago.
Perhaps a turkey BLT, a turkey Rueben, or a turkey salad sandwich is more your speed. But maybe, just maybe, you'll want to order the open-faced hot turkey sandwich instead.
Pictured here, this open-faced sandwich has turkey and stuffing on toast that is then smothered in hot gravy and served with a side of cranberry sauce. Yum!
During Thanksgiving, the turkey may be the star of the show but it's the side dishes that make quite a delicious supporting cast. While you're at Bongi's Turkey Roost, you should try a variety of sides.
You can also order a whole hot roasted turkey, also with stuffing and gravy. There is a $30 cooking charge for this one but it may be worth it since you won't have to cook it yourself!
