Everyone deserves to go out and have a fancy dinner every once in a while. While I usually opt for casual restaurants, I always enjoy getting dressed up and visiting an upscale eatery to celebrate a special occasion. The city of Boston is full of amazing restaurants including Fox and the Knife, Yvonnes, and STK Boston. Deuxave is another fabulous highly-rated spot that is one of the best in the city as well as the nation. 

Deuxave has been named one of the best restaurants in Boston by multiple sources. Their delicious modern French menu, impeccable service, and chic atmosphere make the restaurant a favorite among locals and visitors. 

You can find Deuxave tucked within Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood, right outside the Commonwealth Avenue Mall. The top-notch restaurant perfectly complements this gorgeous, prestigious neighborhood.

Venture inside the restaurant and you will find that the interior of the building is just as beautiful as its outside surroundings. As you make your entrance through the bar area, you will come across a stunning wall of mirrors. You can belly up to the bar and dine here or be seated in the elegant dining area, complete with gorgeous fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling windows. The restaurant also features seasonal patio seating.

The menu at Deuxave consists of meals sourced from fresh, local ingredients. Popular starters include the Holland platinum osetra caviar and the crispy duck confit. Perhaps you will follow these with the herb-crusted halibut or the cast iron seared New York strip. The seasonal five-course Chef’s Tasting Menu is also an excellent choice. Each dish looks like a work of fine art.

Deuxave also has a vast collection of delicious wines. The restaurant has received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for several years running. They conveniently offer expert pairings for each set of menus. Handcrafted cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages are also available.
