I feel so fortunate to live in a region of the country where there are so many fabulous restaurants to choose from. From iconic spots to hidden gems, fantastic food can be found everywhere throughout the Bay State. While you don’t have to travel far to find great cuisine here, sometimes a restaurant is so good that it is worth the drive. The Forge and Vine Restaurant in the small town of Groton is one of these special places.
If you haven’t yet eaten at the Forge and Vine, I highly recommend that you try it out. This unforgettable local restaurant features great American cuisine, delicious cocktails, and outstanding service.
Popular menu choices include chicken schnitzel, seared scallops, tomahawk ribeye, and wood-grilled salmon. The soups, salads, and side dishes are also delicious.
The restaurant also features a raw bar menu with a daily selection of fresh coast oysters.
And the drink menu offers an array of wine, beer, craft cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks. The bartenders often feature rotating specials like this yummy Chocolate Peanut Butter Martini.
The Forge and Vine is a great place to go for any occasion, whether it is an intimate date night or a celebratory dinner with friends. The restaurant has a variety of seating options including small tables, a 26-seat bar, a private dining room, and a gorgeous outside deck.
The counter area is a really fun place to eat. Grab a cocktail and sit back and and watch your meal being prepared right in front of you!
The spectacular views that surround the property are another thing that makes this Forge and Vine so special. Plan your visit around sunset and be sure to bring your camera!
Have you taken the drive to the Forge and Vine? How was your experience? More information about this fantastic hidden gem can be found on the Forge and Vine website and the Forge and Vine Facebook page.
The Forge and Vine is located within walking distance of The Groton Inn. It is a wonderful place to stay the night if you are visiting the area. If you enjoy alpacas, Luina Greine Farm is a must-see local stop!
