Ken’s Roadside Diner in Gill has been serving locals and visitors for decades, and you won’t find a tastier takeaway meal in town. Here’s what you need to know.
Ken’s Roadside Diner is just what it sounds like – a tiny eatery parked by the side of the road, operated by a guy named Ken. The diner specializes in authentic Polish food, but you can find American faves here as well. It’s been around in one form or another for more than 30 years, so you know they’ve worked out all the kinks.
Pull over and park to try these delicious eats – there’s no indoor dining area, but you’re welcome to take a seat at the diner’s shady picnic tables. The menu is packed with just the sort of treats you’d expect – pierogi, kielbasa links, and stuffed cabbage rolls abound.
You’ll also be able to order up traditional egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, fries, onion rings, and grinders with all the fixings. This place is cash-only, so bring that green. The diner is usually open 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the work week, and stays open until about 7 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
