Nancy’s Air Field Cafe is located on the Minute Man Air Field in Stow.
It’s one of only a few places in the region where you can actually watch planes take off from your table!
The restaurant is bright and comfortable, with huge windows that let you enjoy a great view of the airstrip action no matter where you’re seated.
Outside, you’ll see planes taxing and landing from up close.
If you’re lucky, you might even spot a helicopter or two!
The flight deck dining room has a door that opens onto an active plane area, so families with kids 6 years old and under must sit in the main deck dining room.
There you’ll find huge monitors showing live airplane activity as well as plenty of airplane-themed toys to play with, high chairs and a convenient bathroom.
The food is classic comfort food made with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.
You can get anything from decadent french toast to hummus plates and veggies.
Their sweet potato fries are craveworthy and all the portions are hearty enough for leftovers.
Though you probably won't be able to resist gobbling up everything on your plate.
The restaurant also offers a full bar for the grownups.
Nancy's Air Field Cafe is a true gem that's perfect for aviation nuts of all ages.
