Enjoy The Most Colorful Spring Festival In Massachusetts At The Cider Hill Farm Tulip Fest
When the winter weather gives way to spring and the warmth and sunshine that comes with it, many of us want nothing more than to celebrate! And what better way to celebrate the disappearance of snow and bone-chilling cold than by attending a tulip festival in Massachusetts? If that sounds like fun to you, mark your calendars for Tulip Fest at Cider Hill Farm in Amesbury. It’s sure to be the most colorful festival this spring!
Located in Amesbury, Cider Hill Farm offers a slew of family-friendly events and activities throughout the year.
Summer brings the farm's Strawberry Festival and Blueberry & Flower Festival, fall brings the Halloween Festival, and winter brings Story Time With Mrs. Claus.
But perhaps the most anticipated festival held at the farm each year is its Tulip Fest. After all, nothing says "springtime" like fields of gorgeous and colorful tulips!
To prepare for the festival, Cider Hill Farm plants 100,000 tulips that are scheduled to bloom in early May. And when they bloom, it's quite a stunning and welcome sight!
While admission to the festival is free, you must pre-purchase tickets online if you plan on picking tulips. Tickets will go on sale in early April or late May.
The cost for pick-your-own tulips is $20 per dozen. And while entry to the festival is free, if you plan on walking through the fields without picking any flowers, it will cost $5 per person.
Not only will there be fields of tulips to walk through and take some Insta-worthy photos, the festival will also host live music, food trucks, hard cider, family-friendly activities, and more!
