Camping In Massachusetts

What's one of the most unique private campgrounds in Massachusetts?

Massachusetts is home to many campgrounds, including several that are private and hosted by individuals. One, in particular, features a 1919 wooden vintage caboose in Chester. This isn't a traditional campground, but many people do rent this vintage caboose whenever they're passing through town and looking for a place to stay. Instead of camping, whenever people stay here, they often refer to it as "glamping."

This vintage caboose, which is next to the CSX main railroad line, has wooden bunks and can comfortably accommodate up to four guests. If guests need more sleeping space, tents can also be set up on the lawn next to the caboose. Also on the lawn is a picnic table and grill. Guests have access to the bathrooms in the railway station, and they may use the shower facilities at Walker Island Campground, which is about two miles away. When it comes to cooking, guests can also rent the kitchen caboose. This is such a unique place for an overnight stay, and you'll want to book a date to experience it soon.

Are there any kid-friendly campgrounds in Massachusetts that offer more than just camping?
