Nestled in the foothills of the Northern Berkshires of Massachusetts lies the Haflinger Haus Restaurant Tavern & Inn. Tucked away in a valley of the Berkshires is the town of Adams where you will find the Haflinger Haus. This restaurant, tavern, and inn occupies a former home that was built in the year 1900 for the Noble family.

After the property was left abandoned and empty for a number of years and in risk of being torn down, an Austrian family purchased it in 2011 and turned it into the Haflinger Haus. While maintaining historical elements of the house and adding some old-world European charm, this place has quite an old-fashioned feel.

The tavern area is cozy, casual, and rustic - the perfect place to enjoy some appetizers and some authentic German beer.

If you prefer, you may be seated in the formal dining room which is ideal for a date night or special occasion.

Try Austrian dishes like schnitzel which is served with homemade spätzle and braised red cabbage, or a dish like the slow roasted pork with apple-sauerkraut and spätzle.

But if you prefer American cuisine, there is plenty to choose from.
