The last two months of the year are when many of us gear up for the holiday season. We may start to decorate our homes, drive around in search of the best light displays, go holiday shopping, and find seasonal events that will create joyful memories. This year, the Amazing World of Dr. Seuss in Massachusetts will host its annual Grinchmas, an event that is sure to put kids and adults alike in the holiday spirit.
Enter the magical world of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters at The Amazing World of Dr. Suess. Located in the William Pynchon Memorial Building, this whimsical museum is dedicated to the author, his beloved works, and is part of the Springfield Museums in Massachusetts.
Theodor Geisel, aka Dr. Seuss, was a native of Springfield. Born and raised in this city, there's no better place for a museum honoring the author and his works than here.

Also on November 26, you don't want to miss The Lighting of the Quadrangle featuring entertainment and a festive, sparkling light display. This event is sure to make the start of your season merry and bright!
The Lighting of the Quadrangle event will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and it's free! No admission is required to attend.
On December 4th and 11th from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., paid museum guests are invited to attend Santa's Workshop and make a gift. Also on December 11, the public is invited to participate in the museum's Holiday Stroll from 5:30-7:30 p.m. During this event, the Grinch, Rudolph, Frosty the Snowman, and Santa will also be in attendance.
