The Orleans Art Cottages are truly something special. They’re a collection of outdoor sheds filled with all manner of colorful artwork, crafts, and handmade treasures.

Located in the Cape Cod town of Orleans, this little village of cottages is such a unique place to browse and buy. Every artist selling their wares in the sheds has been approved by a jury to ensure the quality and variety of what they’re hawking.

Everything is handmade and unique, including all apparel, accessories, pottery, and jewelry. In fact, you can find something here for just about any taste and budget. Take home gorgeous hand-painted kitchenware, stunning photography prints, hand-sewn children’s dolls and toys, or even one-of-a-kind furniture.

The art cottages are open seasonally until October 14. The hours vary by month, day, and artist, but you can generally expect the cottages to be open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. During the summer, they’re also open from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.
