places on the eastern shore to visit this summer, thousands of people will still flock to Maryland’s most touristy spot, Ocean City. We can’t say that we blame them. Ocean City has thousands of things to do – particularly on the boardwalk. These iconic places to go and things to do on the boardwalk are a must for most Marylanders each time they head to the beach. Get within 100 feet of a Fishers Popcorn stand and the mesmerizing scent of caramel will invade your nose, beckoning you to buy a bucket of delicious goodness. The hard part is not eating the entire bucket in one sitting.

This whimsical place is full of brightly colored kites. Simply browse the shop or buy one for yourself, and fly it on the beach among the other festive kites.

4. Dumser's Dairyland
People are adamant about heading to Dumser's almost on a daily basis while on vacation. Their delectable ice cream is made fresh daily and is the perfect after-dinner treat.
