When you think of fairy tales, what comes to mind? While most people may imagine a castle, I myself think of quaint cottages nestled among enchanted forests. Believe it or not, there’s a town in Maryland that’s quite reminiscent of a fairy tale village. Consider adding this underrated spot to your 2017 must-visit list.

Western Maryland boasts rolling mountains, rural views, and small woodland towns. There is one town in particular that's so rustic and endearing, it could be straight out of a fairy tale.
