Maryland Has Its Very Own German Christmas Market And You’ll Want To Visit
Did you know that there’s an annual German Christmas market in Maryland? Returning for its fifth year, this magical event infuses a bit of German tradition in the Old Line State. If you love a festive and fun time, check it out this holiday season.
From Thanksgiving day through Christmas Eve, Baltimore's Christmas Village is open to visitors at West Shore Park. If this place doesn't get you into the Christmas spirit, I don't know what will.
Still have some holiday shopping to do? Then head indoors and explore all of the unique vendors.
Most of the items found here are handmade and intricate.
Gift your loved one a one-of-a-kind item that looks like it's straight from another country.
Or simply give the gift of Maryland pride. Our favorite!
And if you've still got some decorating to do, the ornaments found here are insanely beautiful. It's difficult choosing just one.
Enjoy traditional German dances...
And several other performances that are sure to enhance the fun even further.
... Just watch out for Krampus.
Hungry? Purchase a hearty bratwurst...
And warm up with a mug of mulled cider. Yum!
At nighttime, Christmas Village becomes illuminated with twinkling lights.
What better way to end a unique day, than by soaking in the harbor views around the Christmas tree? If you haven't made this an annual tradition, you'll want to.
