Whether you’re religious or not, you can’t deny just how gorgeous Baltimore’s churches are. Many of them are full of history, details, and just wait until you see the interiors! Here are 10 of the most beautiful churches in Baltimore:
1) Mt Vernon Place United Methodist Church
This intricately detailed church is Norman-Gothic-style. It's been a beautiful part of Baltimore since 1872.
2. Baltimore Basilica
This wondrous place is known as America's first cathedral. It was built between 1806 and 1821 and it has been visited by several popes throughout the years.
3. First & Franklin Presbyterian Church
This magnificent structure was built between 1854 and 1873 and is full of character.
4. Saint Ann Church of Baltimore
This church was completed in 1874. Some people compare its gray stone exterior to a charming castle right in the city.
5. Emmanuel Episcopal Church
This enchanting church was completed in 1854. Its massive tower is just as fascinating up close as it is in photos.
6. St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church
You can spot this amazing piece of architecture from many different view points throughout the city (example above). This building was completed in 1991 and has been WOWing passersby ever since.
7. St. Casimir Church
This church was built in 1927. The interior details are like works of art.
8. Holy Rosary Church
This church was built between 1927 to 1928. Every inch of the interior is extravagant, from the windows to the detailed ceilings.

10. St Joseph's Monastery Parish
St. Joseph's Monastery Parish was founded in 1865 and has gone through several developments since. This unique structure is pretty amazing in person.
