Snuggle Goats And Eat Burritos At This Exceptionally Unique Spring Farm Experience In Maine
Two questions! Is there anything better than an adorable small, furry animal? And is there any better way to fill your belly than with burritos? We say no to both of those, which is why your spring just got monumentally better! This farm in Maine is has found a way to merge the two and the result is nothing short of perfection!
Sunflower Farm is just about a half hour from Portland, but it feels a world away from city life.
The quaint creamery practices no cull farming approach, which means that all goats born here are named and cared for whether or not they are fertile or producing a large amount of milk. No goats are harmed in the interest of making a profit.
All that snuggling is likely to cause an appetite, which is why the Locally Sauced food truck is on hand each Sunday for burritos to go with your snuggles.
Sunflower Farm Creamery is open for goat snuggling and burrito eating for two more weekends this year. Visit them on Sunday May 12th and Sunday May 19th from noon to 2 p.m. to take part in the fun. Visiting the goats is free and the Locally Sauced food truck will be on hand! Learn more about the farm on their website and visit them on Facebook. You can reach them on 207-829-8347. Address: 12 Harmon Way, Cumberland, ME 04021.
