For more than 20 years, this steakhouse in Auburn has been making memorable meals that include some of the best hand-cut sirloin steaks in the region. They also have plenty of chicken and seafood options for those who want to branch out.
Along with being a great steakhouse, Trail's End is also a fun destination if you love snowmobiling. With tons of trails in the area, on a snowy days there's a good chance you'll find quite a few parked outside. And it's no wonder since they serve up some of the best entrees in the area.

7. Jack Russell's Steakhouse & Brewery, Bar Harbor
While Bar Harbor might not really be considered a small town, it definitely passes the test when compared to other states. This steakhouse is busy year-round, even when tourists have long gone back home. And for good reason! Everyone loves the Jack Russell’s Signature Steak, which can include filet mignon, New York sirloin, or ribeye.
