Despite its official nickname being the Pine Tree state, most people know Maine as simply Vacationland. One visit and you’ll see why! Living here feels a lot like being on a permanent vacation, which is why we can’t fault tourists for coming here in droves. With so many people from away enjoying the state, we’ve found that we love finding spots that are relatively undiscovered. This place, sitting all the way up in The County, is a great example. For local Mainers, this spot feels like an actual vacation no matter what time of year you visit!
