Sometimes you just need good old comfort food, and for that, you need an old-fashioned diner. Here’s a little hometown restaurant that’s been serving up delicious food and great service since 1927.
When you're rolling along on Route 1, you'll definitely want to slow down long enough for a stop at Moody's Diner in Waldoboro. This quaint little eatery has been here since 1927, and you'll see why it's survived through the decades when you stop in for a visit.

One of the most popular menu items at Moody's is the roast turkey dinner served with stuffing, mashed potatoes and homemade gravy. It's the special every Sunday, and trust us - you're going to want to order it.
It goes without saying that you'll finish your meal with a slice of homemade pie. Moody's is famous for its incredible pies of all flavors, but we have a particular fondness for the blueberry.
The Whoopie Pies here are absolutely amazing, and so big that you'll almost want to enjoy it as a meal on its own. Since you probably already enjoyed that blueberry pie, just get one to take home.
