Take An Easy Loop Trail To Enter Another World At The Kezar River Preserve In Maine
Getting outside in Maine is one of our favorite ways to appreciate being here. Whether it’s simply going for a walk in the neighborhood, exploring the shops in nearby cities and towns or actually heading out into the woods, a dose of fresh air will always make you feel better. This easy trail is located near the New Hampshire border and offers a nice way to enjoy the trees.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
Kezar River Preserve is accessible year-round but, of course, you’ll want to be more cautious in the winter as conditions can get slippery. You can learn more about the trail and how to find it here.

In addition to the smell of ocean water in the air on rainy days in Portland, she loves puppies, photography, funny people, the Maine Red Claws, traveling, fresh tomatoes, Cambodia and filling out forms.
