Start Your Day Right By Enjoying The Incredible Breakfast At Miss Portland Diner In Maine
No matter how hard we try, we’re just not morning people. Sure a sunrise is lovely, but so is getting those few extra moments of sleep on a day when we know we’ll be running around busy. The only exception is waking up for an absolutely fantastic breakfast and you’ll find that at one of the most iconic diners in all of Maine! These days they even have extra outdoor seating!
Miss Portland Diner in Portland is a great example of a diner car produced by the great Worcester Lunch Car Company.
Originally built in 1949 the diner had a home on Forest Avenue until 1964 when it was moved to Marginal Way. It was restored in 2007 to it's current appearance and inside things look exactly as you'd expect!
And these days we love that outdoor dining is an option. The patio has even expanded allowing for more patrons to enjoy their meals with the fresh air.
If pancakes are a diner staple to you, they've got some of the best. And even if you choose a hearty breakfast, you can always get a pancake on the side.
And while we like to say we're always looking to make great choices, we can never miss out on one of their classic and inventive milkshakes. Even at breakfast!
Miss Portland Diner is open Tuesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. They’re closed on Monday. You can learn more about them on their website or keep track of things on Facebook. Have questions? You can reach them on 207-210-6673.
Michelle has lived in many places, but counts Maine as one of the best. In addition to the smell of ocean water in the air on rainy days in Portland, she loves puppies, photography, funny people, the Maine Red Claws, traveling, fresh tomatoes, Cambodia and filling out forms.
