Enjoy Your Meal On The Beach At This Charming Lakefront Restaurant In Maine
When most people consider beachfront dining, they think about the ocean. Waves crashing, music blaring and perhaps some adult beverages. But, beachfront dining doesn’t have to scream spring break. At this adorable cafe on Sabbathday Lake, things are pretty casual. It’s quiet, calm and just about as Maine as it gets. And, it’s not on the ocean. Here in Maine you can enjoy cool water at some of the best lakes in the country. And the food here is some of the best you’ll find!

Bresca and the Honey Bee is located at 106 Outlet Rd., New Gloucester, Maine. They’re open every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but lunch was just served on weekends last summer. Perhaps we’ll get lucky and see more lunch this year! You can get ice cream every day of the week when they’re open. They’re open weather permitting so be sure to check ahead of time if the weather is rainy. You can learn more about them on their website or check them out on Facebook. If you have questions, give them a call on 207-926-3388.
Michelle has lived in many places, but counts Maine as one of the best. In addition to the smell of ocean water in the air on rainy days in Portland, she loves puppies, photography, funny people, the Maine Red Claws, traveling, fresh tomatoes, Cambodia and filling out forms.
