Chicot State Park is beautiful year-round, but when the trees start to get their emerald colors back, it’s truly a sight to see. There’s a lovely boardwalk trail that circles around the lake with stunning views along the way.

Located in West Monroe, this little gem of a park truly comes alive in the springtime. Multiple gardens pop with all your favorite blooms, adding a beautiful color splash to your view.

This popular park in the Crescent City has some truly beautiful wildflower fields that bloom in the springtime. You’ll want to bring your camera to capture these gorgeous views. And of course, the botanical gardens are a must-see during the springtime.

You’ll find this beautiful state park over in Lake Charles, and it’s worth a road trip. Featuring more than 1,000 acres of woodlands, lakes, and rivers, this Louisiana State Park looks more like a painting in the springtime.

Although it’s technically a nature preserve instead of a park, Briarwood is certainly a place to put on your bucket list this spring. Once the home of nature preservationist Caroline Dormon, today the preserve is home to countless native plants that nature lovers will adore. The preserve is open for public tours in March, April, and May, so be sure to mark your calendars.

Metairie’s largest park boasts over 150 acres of beautiful scenery to enjoy. Combine that with the lagoon, multiple playgrounds, and a charming carousel, and you’ve got a fun-filled day the whole family can enjoy.

If scenic water views and sprawling green space appeal to you, then you better visit this lovely park in Baton Rouge. The 4+ acre park may not be the biggest, but it sure is one of the prettiest.
