From charbroiled oysters to alligator bites, Big Al’s is a favorite for those in the Houma area, and it’s been that way since they opened in 1995. If you find yourself at Big Al’s during crawfish season, well then treat yourself to a couple of pounds of mudbugs from the self-proclaimed Crawfish King.

Some may remember when they were located in Baton Rouge a number of years ago… well, you’ll be happy to hear that they’ve since reopened over in Carencro, keeping some of the old favorites while introducing new ones. We’d recommend starting with one of the incredible appetizers - like the crawfish wontons or crabmeat-stuffed mushrooms - before feasting on one of their house specialties like crawfish enchiladas or crabmeat eggplant.
