Rice & Roux is a fast and casual-style restaurant in Baton Rouge that’s easily one of the most popular spots for country-style Cajun cuisine.

There are three locations to choose from, one on O’Neal Lane, one on Lee Drive, and the newest location to open on Perkins.

No matter which location you visit, the menu and atmosphere will be the same each offering delicious Jambalaya in Louisiana.

All of them have plenty of parking, too.

Just like the restaurant’s name suggests, the menu at Rice & Roux centers around good old-fashioned Cajun and Creole fare.

It's the best place to get jambalaya in Rice & Roux - and the portions are huge!

Rice & Roux is known for having some of the best gumbo too.

And it makes a nice pairing to the jambalaya.

The jambalaya here is so good, it's sold by the bucket.

Rice & Roux offers four styles of jambalaya "jam" to choose from: chicken and sausage, pork and sausage, chicken and pork mixed, and pastalaya.

My favorite is the chicken and sausage, but you really can't go wrong with any of the options here.
