Summer is right around the corner! As any New Orleanians will tell you, if you don’t have easy access to a swimming pool, you might just melt. Here are some of the best places for a dip as well as more natural spots if you’re looking for a day-long cool down.
You'll find this pool and recreation center by the intersection of Louisiana Ave. and Tchoupitoulas. It's a lovely pool that's often not very crowded--perfect for the summer months. Once you get in the habit of going, you won't be able to get it off of your mind.
You'll have to drive a good little distance to get to this state park, but if you're looking for an awesome natural area to swim, it's well worth the drive. These lovely waters are always a nice temperature and also have some incredible stones that live underneath the rocks.
