Originally established at the City Park Rose Garden in 1936, it was renamed the New Orleans Botanical Garden in the early 1980’s.
The 10-acre park features more than 2,000 varieties of plants from around the world.

Right now, visitors can expect to see azaleas, honeysuckle, poppies, petunias, violas, and many more. The Chinese Fringe Tree is also in bloom and is always a beautiful sight. The roses tend to bloom in April, but you may see some early bloomers if you visit now.
