If you have kids in New Orleans, then you know that sometimes a playground trip is needed. It provides an opportunity to step away from the hustle and bustle of downtown (and tire the little ones out as well). Here are 6 playgrounds in NOLA that are worth visiting...
1) Danneel Playspot, 5501 St. Charles Ave.
If you are looking for a fun place to relax and explore, this is a great neighborhood playground. There are always people playing and connecting here...and there's plenty of space in the park for all kinds of games.
2) Audubon Cool Zoo, 6500 Magazine St.
When New Orleans is in the heat of the summer, the Cool Zoo is one of the best places that you can cool off and play. The amazing white alligator is definitely one of the most fun aspects of this place.
3) Storyland, Victory Ave.
Let the fairy tales of your youth come to life as you explore all that's offered here. There's something amazing about storyland, especially all of the characters that your kids will love interacting with.
4) Louisiana Children’s Museum, 420 Julia St.
When it comes to discovery and play, there's no better place than Louisiana Children's Museum. It's got places to play dress up, explore science, and even pretend you are going grocery shopping. Truly a blast.
5) Confetti Kids, 451 Pelican Ave.
This sweet Westbank playground is a great area for kids to explore. It has some DIY extras that really make the spot shine.
6) The Riverwalk Play Area, 500 Port of New Orleans Place
If you're around the Riverwalk, check out their sea life themed playground. It's a great place for kids to explore their imagination and have fun.
