There’s nothing quite like some good fried seafood, especially in the Big Easy. While there are many restaurants that serve deep-fried, golden deliciousness, there are a few places that tend to stand out among the rest. Acme Oyster House is one of those places and if you’re in the mood for some of the best fried seafood in New Orleans, you may just have to come here.

Established in 1910, Acme Oyster House (known back then as Acme Café) has been serving some of the best oysters you can find in the city.

While several Acme locations exist today, the original is found in the French Quarter. It's casual atmosphere is quite welcoming to guests.

While Acme Oyster House is known for its fresh oysters, its fried seafood is just about as good as it gets. Perfectly seasoned and fried, there are plenty of seafood options you're sure to love.

Start with an appetizer of Boom Boom Shrimp tossed in homemade sauce. You can share with others at your table, although you may want it all to yourself!

If you like crab cakes, you may love the fried crab cake platter. You can order it with either one or two crab cakes.

Acme has quite an extensive list of Po-Boys on the menu. The Fried Peace-Maker Po-Boy is an Acme specialty with golden fried oysters and shrimp, topped with mayo infused with hot sauce.
