Louisiana is known for many things, but producing wine typically isn’t one of them. But just because we aren’t known for it, doesn’t mean that we can’t grow a vine or two! Established in 1999, Landry Vineyards is a family-owned and operated vineyard with over 15 acres of wine grapes that produce 50-70 tons per year. Not only is it a lovely spot for a day trip with your friends, they’ve also recently made a few additions to the property, so you can spend a night in one of their cozy cottages for a relaxing grape escape.
From the moment you arrive at Landry Vineyards, you’ll be swept away by the stunning landscape, rolling hills, and luscious green space.
You’ll be second-guessing if you’re in West Monroe or Napa Valley!
Landry Vineyards produces 24 different wines, each one more delicious than the last.
From dry whites to ports, they do it all, producing more than 200,000 wine bottles every year.
Recently, the vineyard built two charming cottages on the property.
What a picture-perfect getaway!
These cozy little cabins are the ultimate retreat for anyone looking for a relaxing weekend to wind down.
Perfect for two, each cabin features a king-sized bed and all the amenities you need.
Each cottage also comes with a complimentary bottle of one of their wines, plus a free wine tasting in the tasting room.
During the day, you can schedule a tour of the vineyard.
Here, you'll learn all about the process of making wine, what types of grapes are grown in Louisiana, and more.
You might even discover your new favorite wine!
At the end of the day, sit back and relax with a glass or two of wine and enjoy the beautiful scenery complemented by the memorable conversations with your loved ones.
Sounds like the perfect weekend, right?
